Building my own garden observatory, and some of the astrophotography that I've done along the way.
About the Observatory
Having rediscovered my interest in astronomy a few years ago, a house move has given me the possibility of building my own garden observatory.
I've put this site together to document the journey from a plan to the finished build. It'll incorporate details on some of the equipment I've built and feature some of the astrophotography that I've taken along the way.

Astrophotography
A collection of the astrophotography images that I've been taking over the past few years. Hopefully they're improving with time!
Handmade in Lancaster
As I go through this build and spend time doing astrophotography, there's a few bits of equipment that I've developed for my own use. Once I'm happy they work well enough, I plan to make them available here. Keep an eye out for updates or get in touch if you've got any queries.
Observatory Equipment
Monitor the temperature of three areas in your observatory with this sensor. Wifi connected allowing the temperatures to be monitored remotely.
Accessories
A short description of this handmade astronomy product. What it does, what it's made from, and who it's suitable for.
